Cycling around South Brisbane and West End
South End and West End are mostly flat suburbs and perfect for walking, skateboarding and cycling around and there is just so much to see and experience in this area. In fact parts of the suburbs have a 97% rating according to the walk score website. Linking the Brisbane CBD to the Cultural Centre and South Bank Parklands, the Kurilpa Bridge offers cyclists a safe option for crossing the river away from traffic. In Brisbane one can also take a bike on the City Cat ferries and explore further afield.

The Brisbane City Council provides bikes for hire (with helmets) at various spots throughout the City, West end, South Brisbane and other inner-city suburbs. You can use a credit card or Go Card in the cycle stations.
